Holiday Ham | Traeger Grill

WHAT HEATH USED IN THIS RECIPE:

• Heath Riles BBQ Apple Rub
• Hot Honey
• ChefAlarm
• Stone + Wood Cutting Boards
• Small wire rack

INGREDIENTS:

• Spiral Cut Bone-In Ham
• Binder to coat ham, we used spray canola oil
• Heath Riles BBQ Apple Rub
• Orange Juice for Spritz (or liquid of your choice)

FOR HAM GLAZE:

• 1 cup Apple Jelly
• 1/4 cup Apple Cider
• 1 tsp Hot Honey
• 1 tbsp Heath Riles BBQ Apple Rub

DIRECTIONS:

1. Get grill up to temperature of 275º. We used our Traeger Timberline 1300 with Cherry Pellets for this cook.
2. Take Ham out of package while grill is coming up to temperature.
3. Spray Ham with Canola Oil or any spray or binder of your choice.
4. Season Ham with Heath Riles BBQ Apple Rub.
5. Place Ham on wire rack and then on the grill once grill is up to temperature.
6. After about 1 hour, we spritzed the ham with Orange Juice and continued to do this hourly until the ham reached an internal temperature of 125º.
7. Make Ham glaze, mix ingredients listed above under Ham Glaze and reduce over medium heat until all ingredients are melted and your mixture is a glaze.
8. Once the internal temperature of 125º is reached, start glazing your ham.
9. Allow Ham to continue to cook until an internal temperature of around 140º is reached. Our total cook time for this was approximately 3 hours at 275º.
10. Allow Ham to rest for approximately 20 minutes before eating.
11. ENJOY!
