WHAT HEATH USED IN THIS RECIPE:

INGREDIENTS:

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Get grill up to 500º or temperature of your choice.
  2. Spray steaks with Duck Fat Spray or any binder of choice.
  3. Season steaks with Heath Riles BBQ Garlic Jalapeño Rub.
  4. Allow steaks to sit for about 10 minutes after seasoning them.
  5. Spray grates on the grill with Duck Fat Spray or any oil of your choice.
  6. Place steaks on the grill.
  7. Cook for 1 and a half minutes and then flip, repeat and flip again. Continue this process until you achieve the grill marks you are looking for.
  8. Move to the cooler zone of the grill when you get your grill marks (our internal temperature was about 110º when we moved to the cool side).
  9. Allow steak to cook to desired temperature. We went to about 120º-123º for a medium rare temperature.
  10. Remove steak from grilll and allow to rest for about 10 minutes before cutting.
  11. Salt if desired.
  12. ENJOY!
