Easy Cheesy Gameday Sliders

Ingredients

  • 1 lb 80/20 ground beef
  • 1 pack King’s Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 small yellow onion, sliced
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 2 tbsp mayo
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp relish
  • 1 tsp Heath Riles BBQ Beef Rub, plus more for seasoning
  • 1 tsp Bear & Burton’s W Sauce
  • Olive oil or butter for cooking

Directions

  1. Flatten the ground beef on parchment paper to match the size of the roll sheet; cut in half for easy flipping and season both sides with beef rub.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together mayo, ketchup, mustard, relish, W Sauce, and a pinch of beef rub; set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil on the griddle; cook onions until tender and golden brown.
  4. Add beef to the griddle and sear on both sides until cooked through; top with onions and cheese to melt.
  5. Split rolls in half, butter lightly, and toast until golden.
  6. Spread burger sauce on the bottom buns, add the beef and cheese mixture, top with bun lids, and slice into sliders.
