Learn how to cook the perfect ribeye steak on a Weber Kettle Grill using Heath Riles BBQ Steak & Chop Seasoning and the flip method for a juicy, evenly cooked steak.

Perfect Ribeye Steak with Steak & Chop Seasoning

Ingredients

  • 1 (1½-inch thick) ribeye steak

  • 2–3 tablespoons Heath Riles BBQ Steak & Chop Seasoning

Directions

  1. If frozen, thaw the ribeye overnight in the refrigerator.

  2. Remove the steak from the refrigerator 1–2 hours before cooking to allow it to come closer to room temperature.

  3. Preheat your grill to approximately 500°F.

  4. Season both sides of the ribeye generously with Steak & Chop Seasoning.

  5. Let the steak rest for 10 minutes before grilling.

  6. Place the steak directly over the hot coals and cook using the flip method, turning every 2 minutes until the desired internal temperature is reached.

  7. Remove the steak at approximately 125–128°F for medium-rare or cook longer for your preferred doneness.

  8. Rest the steak for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.
