How It Works

Hot Grill Summer runs in four themed rounds. There are two ways to take part each round, and you can do both. 

Recipe Contest 
Submit an original recipe featuring Heath Riles BBQ products. The partner grill company for that round picks 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. The 1st place recipe is recreated and published as a featured recipe blog on the Heath Riles BBQ website. 
 
Round Gift Card Giveaway
No recipe needed. Enter your email through that round's giveaway form for a chance to win a $100 Heath Riles BBQ Gift Card. One winner is selected per round. 
 
Bonus Entry 
Use the round's featured Heath Riles BBQ product in your recipe to earn one bonus entry. Only one bonus entry per submission, no matter how many featured products you use. Proof of product usage must be visible in the recipe and the submission photo.

How to Enter

To enter the recipe contest, click the Hot Grill Summer button above and submit your recipe and photo by the Sunday deadline for each round. Check the round schedule so your recipe is on theme. 

Step 1: Create an original recipe featuring Heath Riles BBQ products 
Step 2: Include a finished recipe photo showing only white-label Heath Riles BBQ products 
Step 3: Use the round's featured product to earn a bonus entry 
Step 4: Tag Heath Riles BBQ and use #hotgrillsummer26, and submit by 11:59 PM CST Sunday 
  
Prefer not to submit a recipe? Enter the Round Gift Card Giveaway by submitting your email through that round's form for a chance to win a $100 gift card. 
 
Pro Tip: Feature Heath Riles BBQ products and use only white-label products in your submission photos, and make sure every entry is your own original creation. 

Official Rules

  1. Open to residents of the United States only (Lower 48 States) who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. 
  2. Submit your email to officially enter the Hot Grill Summer Giveaway. By submitting, you agree Heath Riles BBQ may use your email address to send promotional materials, updates, and newsletters related to their products, recipes, and future contests. 
  3. Each round will include a separate email-entry giveaway for a chance to win a $100 Heath Riles BBQ Gift Card. No recipe submission is required to enter the gift card giveaway. Participants must submit their email through the designated giveaway form for that round to be eligible. 
  4. All submissions must include a photo only with the finished recipe, exclusively feature Heath Riles BBQ products, and use only our products with white labels. No submissions with our original black labels will be accepted. 
  5. Participants who use the designated Featured Product(s) for that round's contest will receive one bonus entry. Only one bonus entry may be earned per submission regardless of the number of qualifying products used. 
  6. All submissions must be posted by 11:59 PM CST on every Sunday's deadline during the contest period. 
  7. All entries must be original creations of the participant and not plagiarized from any other source. 
  8. We want to see YOUR cooking! All recipe submissions and photos must be original. AI-generated or AI-edited images will NOT be accepted. This includes uploading your food photo into an AI tool to change, replace, or create a background for presentation. Please submit your original food photography as it was taken.
  9. By submitting an entry, participants grant Heath Riles BBQ permission to use their name, recipe, photo, and submission details for promotional purposes related to this contest. The 1st Place winning recipe from each round may also be recreated and published as a featured recipe blog on the Heath Riles BBQ website. 
  10. All submissions must tag Heath Riles BBQ correctly on social media and/or use the #hotgrillsummer26 hashtag to be considered. 
  11. Rounds 1-4 entries will be voted on by the sponsoring grill companies. Each round a 1st Place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place winner will be selected. 
  12. This contest is not sponsored or endorsed by any social media platform, and participants release all social media platforms from any liability related to this contest. 
  13. Heath Riles BBQ reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not comply with the rules or are considered inappropriate or offensive.
