Well this is the first time I tried to smoke a pork butt on my Treager Tailgaiter Pro 20 and loved the shaker BUT after watching Heath’s video on smoking pork butt my first time turned out tough and not sure what I did wrong BUT I’m not a quiter!
I did love the shaker bottle, though😊👍
Such a simple thing that makes the process of cooking so much easier, I would recommend if you are getting the butter bath or anytime you need to mix something for your cook!
Fairly new to making BBQ as I decided I needed a hobby when I retired, for some reason I struggled cooking ribs until I found Heath’s site and butter bath 5 years ago. What a game changer , ok also his rubs too.
Absolutely love the butter bath and the shaker bottle! thanks again for all the videos and making a good product. My ribs on the Webber Kettle were Awesome 👍
My six pound chicken was prepared with a light coating of Duck Fat. Then chicken rub was applied, followed by pecan rub (forgot to use a bit of the rub in the cavity). Chicken brine was injected and the bird was placed on a Traeger "beer can" appliance containing 12 ounces of hearty Sam Adams Boston Lager. Moved the chicken and beer can to the Traeger and opened a bottle of beer for yours truly. The result was astonishing! Juicy chicken that grocery store or Costco roasted chicken can compare with. The carcass and scraps were used for chicken noodle soup.
