Everyone likes to get rowdy from time to time. If you’re suffering from the much-dreaded hangover, I’ve got the cure. My Hangover Burger is full of protein to get you over that hump. Eggs, bacon, cheese..it’s got it all!

Hangover Burger| Traeger Flatrock Flat Top Grill

Ingredients

  • Uncooked Bacon

  • American Cheese

  • Eggs

  • 1lb 80/20 Ground Beef

  • Heath Riles BBQ Everyday Rub

  • Bear & Burton’s W Sauce

Directions

  1. Fire up the grill. I stoked the Traeger Flatrock Flat Top Grill and fired the right side to a medium temperature.

  2. Season the ground beef. I placed my ground beef in a large mixing bowl and laid down a good dusting of Heath Riles BBQ Everyday Rub. I added a dash of Bear & Burton’s W Sauce, then used my hands to fold the seasonings into the meat.

  3. Form the patties. I created 4 equal-sized patties that weighed about ¼ pound each. I molded my meat into balls, keeping them nice and thick.

  4. Cook the bacon. I placed the bacon on the right side of the Traeger Flatrock Flat Top Grill. I used my griddle press to get the bacon nice and crisp. Be sure to watch the video to see how I keep my griddle press clean.

  5. I knew it was time to flip the burgers when moisture came to the top. I let the burgers cook on the other side for 30-45 seconds, then added my cheese.

  6. Prep the buns and eggs. Once the bacon was to my liking, I removed it from the grill. Then, I used the residual bacon grease to toast the buns. Last, I cracked some eggs into the grease and topped them with Heath Riles BBQ Everyday Rub. I cooked my eggs over-easy style, but you do you!

  7. Assemble the burgers. To build the burgers, I put a smear of mayonnaise on the bun halves. Then, I added both burgers and topped them with egg and bacon. What a winning combo!
